Terms of Service

By using VITAE you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short — this is a CV tool, not a bank.

The service

VITAE helps you write, format and export CVs. The free tier lets you build and download with a small brand line on the PDF. AI features run on credits; unlocking a CV removes the brand line and includes AI credits. A 30-day Job-Hunt Pass unlocks everything while it is active.

Payments

• Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. We never see your card.
• Unlocks are one-time, per CV, and permanent. Credits never expire. The Pass lasts 30 days and does not auto-renew.
• If a payment succeeded but nothing was granted, contact us from your account email — we can see the payment reference and will make it right. Refunds follow consumer law and Dodo's policies.

Acceptable use

Don't use VITAE to misrepresent qualifications you don't have, don't abuse the AI features beyond normal personal use, and don't attempt to break the service or other users' accounts.

No guarantee of outcomes

VITAE improves how your experience reads; it cannot promise interviews or jobs. AI output is a draft — you are responsible for the truthfulness of everything on your CV. Review every line before you send it anywhere.

The service is provided as-is

We work hard on reliability, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do.
